School meals are cooked on the premises and are available at £2.15 (from September 2020). Reception and Years 1 and 2 (KS1), are able to have a free school meal; funded by the Government. Children in KS2 will need to pay. Payment should be made via ParentPay.
Children are also entitled to a free meal if their parents income is below a certain level or they are in receipt of benefits. Please contact the school office for further information where applications are treated in strict confidence. Parental receipt of free school meals is an important factor deciding upon the funding for the school and can have a significant impact on what we can provide for your child. If you think you may be entitled to free school meals, even if your child is in Reception or KS1; please apply for the funding.
Please see below for the latest menu from our school dinner provider, Caterlink:
Please note jacket potatoes with a choice of filling must be ordered.
If you wish your child to bring a packed lunch to school, please ensure that the box is clearly named and that any drink is in a named plastic container. We have several children in school with severe nut allergies so we ask parents to ensure that foods in lunches do not contain nuts or nut products such as peanut butter.
All children in Reception, Years 1 and 2 will be offered a piece of fruit or a vegetable daily as part of the Government’s school fruit and vegetable scheme. Older children are encouraged to bring ONLY a piece of fruit or vegetables from home for morning break – no other substitutes are allowed to be eaten at this time. All children have access to drinking water throughout the day.
