Year 6 have been working incredibly hard since returning to school. Below are some of their remarkable efforts across all subject.
Cinquain poetry – We had a virtual poetry workshop with the Shakespeare Poetry Trust.
A cinquain is a five-line poem that was invented by Adelaide Crapsey. She was an American poet who took her inspiration from Japanese haiku and tanka.

Geography – As part of our Geography Big Think, Year 6 created a detailed country of their own. They also created the needed key to help navigate the different counties, physical geography and landmarks within their country.
In English/Topic, we have been looking at persuasive texts (Promotional leaflet) which links with our Ancient Greece topic. The class published their promotional leaflet this week.
