U11 Girls Football Cup
On Wednesday 11th October our U11 Girls football team played out a thrilling cup game with Binstead. Greenmount were the strongest team throughout the first half and went into half time with a 1-0 lead following a shot by Isabelle Furnell which deflected off of Lilly Chase and past the Binstead keeper. Both girls have claimed the goal and so we are happy to chalk it up as a joint effort! The second half saw Binstead make a positional change by swapping an outfield player with the goal keeper. Overall a very exciting game and a fantastic performance from all of our players. With more league games to come the future looks bright for our girls and they will have further opportunities to continue to develop as players.
