The Breakfast Club runs during term time each morning between 7.45am and the beginning of each school day, and caters only for children who attend Greenmount Primary and Pre School. All children attending the club must be brought into school by a responsible adult.
Children attending the club will be offered a balanced healthy, nutritious breakfast and a range of activities designed to provide a settled but stimulating start to their day.
There are 32 places available at the club each day. Parents/Carers must book places 24 hours in advance, and must give 24 hours notice if a place is no longer needed. To book or cancel a place, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. If a child is ill on any particular day, the school will inform the clubs co-ordinator of his/her absence.
There is a fee, currently of £2.50 per session, for Breakfast Club. This is payable on ParentPay and covers the cost of food and a drink. Payment should be made at the beginning of each week. If a child misses a session through illness, money can be carried over to the following week/session. If no notice is received parents will be charged for the missed session.
The governing body of the school is responsible for the club, and the provision is under constant review.
The governors and club staff reserve the right to refuse to take children who are either unhappy being left at the club, or whose behaviour is unacceptable. Concerns will, of course, be discussed with parents/carers before any decision is made.
The Breakfast Club will be staffed each day by the co-ordinator Mrs Pam Stubberfield and assistants Mrs Angie Morfitt and Miss Chrissie Rutter.
Breakfast Club’s direct number is 01983 568846.
